It’s a yarn enough life for me…

A friend of mine asked me before the holidays to put together some photos of some of the yarn work I have been doing lately. I like to knit and crochet whenever I have the chance. I first learned to knit when I was around 7 or 8 years old. Being left handed, it was a challenge to learn, and eventually I had to teach myself because the knitters around me at the time were all right handed. I learned how to crochet from my great aunt Jan, who was extremely good at it, as was her sister, my grandmother. My offspring have taken it up as well, and I am glad. Now I feel my yarn stash/ hoarding is justified. We often joke that it is a post-apocalyptic life skill… because it is.
