“The sun is shining somewhere you know.” she said. I watched her carefully. I was more interested in the highball in her hand. She smiled.

“Where are we going?” Kay whined. “Nowheres. Shut up.” he spat. He didn’t look at her. Kay pushed a tear away. The car exploded on the curb.
