through the lens

I was 18 when I bought my first camera. I was planning to take a year off before going to university at Huron University College and Western University to travel to Senegal. I spent $100 on the camera and it stayed by my side when I went out to the east coast and then overseas. Over the years, through trial and error, I have developed a relationship with my cameras and learned how they can help me share the way I see the world around me. I always say to myself, one day I will make the time to take a proper class/ course, but I have yet to be able to do that. For now, I just stomp around in the woods with my camera and photograph whatever catches my eye.
