broken butterfly wing
found hidden on the lakeshore
strength to keep flying
in the dunes, butterfly struggles
to rise up over the sand
tip lost the wind
strong heart continues to beat
in spite of the odds

In spite of the odds…
It is amazing when a butterfly can continue even with a damaged wing.
I photographed a couple of dead butterflies on the road yesterday or the day before. Today I thought–now it’s time to photograph a living breathing wing-creature again!
