I have been doing a lot of thinking today about a small list of things that I have always wanted to do for myself… it’s a list that probably should grow longer, but for now it is just a small one. One of the things I have always wanted to do for myself is to put some of my writing, particularly the collection of poetry that I have into one book. Well, after realizing that I have over 1000 poems to sift through… it will end up being a few books, but by the end, I will have something that resembles a collection for myself. The other thing I have been wanting to do is to put together a proper site for my photos. I redid the layout for it yesterday and slowly am adding more photos. It’s a long process going through the poems and photos, but it is good. It does bring a new strength to the moment when I started both of these projects. It’s like watering a seed and watching it grow. As an old friend of mine once told me though, a plant cannot grow in the dark. The undertaking of a new project brings strength and bringing it out into the light brings a different kind of strength with it too. That is where I draw inspiration from today… action. Now if I could just get the energy and motivation up to clean my room….
